First we will ask you a few questions over the phone - like your age and your baby's age, etc. - to see if you match our research criteria. If you do, we will invite you to take part in a psychiatric interview at NIH, a home-visit, and a lab-visit. All visits will be scheduled at your convenience. If necessary, we will reimburse you for transportation costs and provide childcare when you come in for the interview.

We will also ask you and your spouse/partner to fill out some questionnaires. All of your answers will be kept confidential. Participation of your spouse/partner does not affect your eligibility for the study.

You and your spouse/partner will be paid for your time, your child will receive a toy, and we will give you informational packets about child development and women's health.
